As I look out the window the snow is coming down and tomorrow temp will be over 50 degrees. What is happening with the weather ??

We had a very enjoyable afternoon at The Installation at Dunwoodie. Thank you to everyone who attended and to those who were involved in organizing the event.

A reminder that our Annual St. Patrick's Dance is getting close. Please join us on Friday, March 11 th at Antun's, 96-43 Springfield Blvd, Queens Village, NY 11429. Payment of dues is being accepted and can be paid at this meeting or by mailing to the Financial Secretary at the P.O. Box address above. Dues are $20.00 per person or $30.00 per couple.

Good News !!! If you are planning to march with us this year in the New York City St. Patrick's Day Parade we will assemble at East 44th Street between Madison Ave and Vanderbilt Ave, Thursday March 17th at 11:35 AM, after County Limerick and ahead of County Tipperary. Please be on time as we will be marching early. I am enclosing a copy of the Parade Rules, please read and apply them. Put on your best smile !! You'll be on TV. All are welcome. Please remember to adhere to the St. Patrick's Day Parade marching guidelines!

Friends of Irish Freedom will have their Annual Easter Sunday Mass and Celebration on March 27th at Gaelic Park 240 th Street Off Broadway at 10.00 AM. Breakfast will follow and the cost is $25.00 per person (kids under 12 free). Republican speakers will attend and musicians will provide enlightenment for the day. Calling all Ceili Dancers . Rambling House Ceili on Friday, February 19th at 7:30 PM 4292 Katonah Ave, Woodlawn. Music by NY Ceili Band. Admission is $20.00 per person. Proceeds will be donated to benefit at Emerald Isle Immigration Center. All skill levels and ages welcome.

Brooklyn 41 St Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade kicks off on Sunday March 20th with a mass at Holy Name Church, 245 Prospect Park West at 9:00 AM. Parade starts at 1PM. Assembly point is Prospect Park West between 9 th Street and 15 th Street at 12:00 Noon. Grand Marshal is Mary Hogan, National President of the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians. All are welcome.

Condolences to the family Regan family on the death of their uncle Bernard Regan (in Ireland), to Eileen Healy on the death of her niece Eileen Madden, to Kevin and Liz Taylor on the death of Liz's mother Mary Wall, to the family of Martin Brett and to Mary O'Keefe on the death of her brother Joe Brennan in Leitrim. May they all rest in peace.
